Charissa Thompson
Thompson was a former FOX Sports host who left FOX Sports for Yahoo Sports in 2010, also hosted Versus Sports. She anchored Versus' NHL studio coverage and recorded web videos for the highly-visited Yahoo platform, leading the website's coverage of high-profile occasions, such as The 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV and the BCS National Championship. Her success at these events led her to get a job with ESPN as one of its hosts in the new afternoon show "Numbers Never Lie," in August 2011. She joined the "SportsNation" company in July of 2012. It was extremely popular, and she stayed on until the end of May 2013 when she returned back to Los Angeles to launch FS1. Thompson is an avid sports enthusiast, however she has demonstrated the versatility necessary to be able to work in entertainment. She was hired as a co-host for"Extra," a Hollywood magazine "Extra" during June 2014 after several part-time jobs. She filmed episodes in Universal Studios and also worked in award shows, celebrities' events and various other gatherings.
