Kari Wuhrer was born April 28th, 1967. She is an American performer and singer. Wuhrer first began her acting career in her teens. Her most well-known role was for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as for her role as the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. There are three brothers and sisters. When she was young she sang in nightclubs and slipped out to sing. Kari sang in nightclubs when she was a teenager. She would sneak out at night to sing and entertain her friends. Kari was only 13 when she began acting courses at Wooster School. Later, Kari enrolled at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College. Kari started acting as a teenager, and her first break on television coming on 1987's MTV Remote Control.
