Meagan Good was born Panorama City, Los Angeles in the 8th of August, 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle was her manager while she was in her teens. Her acting career began at the age of around the age of 4, after being raised within Canyon Country with her siblings. When she was in the beginning stages of her career she worked as an extra on shows such as Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. In the teen years she was in her film debut"Friday. In the role of Cisely her troubled teenager from Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered her attention. She got two nominations including her very first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award Nomination. Good performed small film roles and TV parts for a few years before changing roles to become more mature. Her role was as Nina in Cousin Skeeter a Nickelodeon T.V. show that ran from 1998 until 2001. In addition, she had tiny roles in the movies House Party to the Last Minute (1998) as well as 3 Strikes (2000). She portrayed Vanessa Scott on the 2003 sitcom My Wife and Kids. In 2004, she starred in D.E.B.S the action comedy film, which resulted in her being nominated as Best Actress at the Black Movie Awards in 2005. After this she featured in a variety of films, including You've been Served the Cookout Venom One Missed Call, Waist Deep as well as The Love Guru. In 2012, she continued to be active as well on T.V. in films, she portrayed Mya in Think Like a Man with the help of many actors as well as Ms. Stevens as Dysfunctional Friends.
