Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. A half English as well as Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish and English roots. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish and has English roots. Four of her siblings belong to her father's previous marriage. Buenos Aires was her home up until she was six years old, after which the family relocated to Victoria in London. Taylor Joy states that the move to England was extremely stressful. She refused to learn English and believed she would be able to move back to Argentina. Her school had to change from Northlands and then Hill House. Then, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in school productions. At the age of 16, she quit school in order to make a career of acting. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actor from a young age. Her dreams were realized after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
